Happy New Year!!! I know it has been forever since I last posted something but I have been very busy. December is one of the busiest months for me. A group of Japanese exchange students are here for the winter break so I have been spending a lot of time with them. Not much fundraising news. I will work more on fundraising the start of this next year. Still working on scholarships though.

Hey Jesse! I read your comment on my blog about trying to write to Sponsoring companies! Well what I did is looked up ANY foundation I could find in the United States and wrote to them. Not too much luck with it, but it wasn't in vain. One foundation wrote back to me and gave me $500 and another gave me $75. But I would be wary of this, because companies do not like to give out to idividuals. (It has something to to with the IRS and not being 501(c)(3) organization.) But, if you do choose this method, you might get lucky and someone will write back. =] Best of luck Jesse!
